The chart below shows the results of two studies, one done in 1985, and the other in 1995, in which two groups of Chinese adults gave their opinion about their choice modes of transportation in China as the most populated country in the world. Each of the diagrams below shows the responses received by each study. First, based on the diagrams below, explain why Chinese people in 1985 and those in 1995 felt this way. Then, Compare the two groups’ opinions with those of a potential group of Chinese people in 2005 which are summarized in the third diagram. Use details and examples to support and expand the ideas mentioned in the diagrams.
